REGULATION means classify products and ensure content of products meets acceptable standards.

Why is it important for film regulation to exist
To make sure that the content of the film is age appropriate.

Why was it important for the game to receive a 7 age rating? to protect young children from violence and because children under the age of 7 dont play those types of games.

The Lego movie
L/O: TO ANALYSE THE REPRESENTATIONS ON THE POSTER CAMPAIGN

Batman
Smoke sky ,tall building , fire shape of a bat, man in black suit, dark colours, The dark knight could be implying that the main character could be a violent hero, low angle,The fire is red maybe for his anger / vengeance.

It shows batman down on the street above a building with a fire bat above it implying maybe the criminal is mocking him.

The tall building looks like its been destroyed or bombed by the criminal.

Lego movie video game

The lego sign is massive,a emo girl, john doe, strange old bloke, being chased, everyone looks angry at them could be a hero or villan.
Light soft colours, Batman, The guy at the back has
red implying hes evil.

The 3 characters could be saving the world from the large bloke at the back shining a red light at them.
The main characters look happy/ pleasant.
The video game would attract people due to their light colours, LEGO, characters from popular movies ect and because it was released a week before.

The spanner is a tool of creativity implying you can do anything if you put your mind to it you can do anything.
This appeals for children because for children that like building.

They show famous characters to bring the audience in.
This appeals for everyone because people may play the game to see there favourite character.

The bright colours in the poster hooks children in because bright colours to them is fun.

Warner bros : the companys who made the game and the movie ect
for question 7 i need to understand the difference between vertical  and horizontal interrogation
8 i need to read the question
9 i need to write more and read the qeuistion

Question 9
The representation of genders in the lego movie is very stereotypical and non stereotypical
i back this claim by talking about the character posters.

The stereotypical man:  strong, brave, Masculine
emmet: coward, fragile, always screaming

stereotypical woman: scared of everything, fragile, always screaming
Wildstyle: brave, strong, kind of masculine

In the lego movie they have swapped the stereotypes around with emmet and wildstyle to probably add a comedy effect. However, this isn't all true because they still do add some stereotypical features to the characters.

Wildstyle : makeup, hair dye, chocker
Emmet: Is a builder.

So this plays into the stereotypes as being builder is seen as a man only thing and same with putting on makeup, wearing chockers and having dyed hair
also side characters like batman play into the male stereotypes as hes strong, brave and masculine.
